Anderson Road Medical Centre prides itself on providing personalised health care to the local community since 2007. Our aim is to not only manage acute and chronic health concerns but also to be proactive towards preventative health. We are fortunate to have a great team which works hard to provide a quality service. We are always looking for ways we can improve the service we offer our patients.

Dr Liam Halliday - Practice Principal
Dr Liam Halliday

Dr Liam graduated medicine at the University of Queensland and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Liam grew up in Queensland as well as overseas and has made Melbourne his new home with his young family. 

 

Dr Liam loves all areas of general practice but especially enjoys paediatrics, men’s health, dermatology and skin cancer medicine and preventative health medicine. Liam is proficient in minor practical procedures such as skin cancer excisions, implanon insertion/removals, iron infusions and diagnostic Ultrasound and Spirometry. 

 

Dr Liam has also tutored at the University of Melbourne’s Medical school, teaching medical students basic clinical skills and has previously worked as a senior lecturer at James Cook University Queensland. He enjoys teaching the new crop of Medical students about General Practice by offering placement sessions at the practice when possible.

Locum GP

He is a very experience GP who graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2006 and gained his fellowship in 2013. He enjoys all aspects of general practice - Family medicine, Skin checks and procedures, Chronic care, Mental Health and Iron infusions. He is committed to providing excellent health care to the local community.

Dr Creski Gilong - General Practitioner
Dr Creski Gilong

Dr Creski graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 and is a Vocationally Registered General Practitioner.

He enjoys all aspects of General Practice, in particular Chronic disease management, General medicine, Preventative health, Skin check, biopsies and excisions. He also has over 3 years’ experience as a surgical registrar. He is interested in the management of skin cancer and has completed a Certificate of Dermoscopy with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.

Outside of work, he can be seen walking around the local parks with his wife and toddler.

Locum- Dr Catherine McInnes

She is a very experience GP who has worked for many years in country NSW. She has a wealth of experience and is committed to providing excellent health care to the local community.

Dr Mohammad Omer - General Practitioner
Dr Mohammad Najdat Omer Omer

After graduating from medical school in 2006 Dr Mohammad Omer worked in the Middle East and fluently speaks Arabic, Turkish and English. 

He completed post graduation certificate in public health from Griffith university Queensland  in 2010 and has been working in Australia as a medical professional since 2012. He received certificate in Emergency Medicine in 2016 from Australian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM) and has completed his Fellowship with Royal Australian College of GP in 2024 (FRACGP).
Dr. Omer has wide variety of clinical experiences with special interest in skin conditions and skin cancer surgery in general.

Colleen Frewen

Colleen has worked in General Practice as a practice nurse for many years. She has a special interest in wound care and procedures. Helping patients manage and improve their chronic diseases, she finds very rewarding. Her focus is to understand each patient's needs and help them achieve a path to wellness both physically and mentally.

Psychologist
Naazia Syed

Naz enjoys working with adult females in all aspects of mental health. She has completed a Master of Applied Psychology. Naz has experience working with PANDA’s national helpline and working in the community as a counsellor in both the private sector and school system.

She practices evidence-based practice and has knowledge of psychopathology, sleep psychology, depression, anxiety, phobias, and skills in risk assessment.

She is bicultural and can speak Hindi and Urdu. She has extensive experience working with clients from CALD backgrounds.

Physiotherapist

Pav Deshmukh

 

 

 

Pav is experienced in assessing, diagnosing & treating sports injuries, she is passionate about bringing these skills in treating patients of all age groups. Pav believes it is important to correct biomechanical dysfunctions that can cause injuries, pain or muscle weakness – acute & chronic.

 

Pracyga Prawiraz

Pracyga (Pras) is a practitioner physiotherapist, who graduated from University of Melbourne in 2022. As a dedicated physiotherapist with experience in a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, Pracyga brings a unique blend of empathetic listening skills and extensive hands-on experience. His commitment to understanding the patient’s needs and concerns ensures a tailored patient’s rehabilitation journey. With a passion for promoting holistic wellness, Pracyga specialise in doing individualised exercise programs that help his patients to achieve their goals.

Dietitian

Kellie Nguyen

Kellie is a qualified dietitian who completed her Masters of Dietetics at Swinburne University in 2021. She has a personal understanding of the challenges associated with an unhealthy relationship with food, which has fuelled her passion for renal dietetics. Through her experience as a clinical dietitian in regional Victoria, Kellie has also developed a strong interest in gut health and hopes to specialise in one of these areas one day.

Kellie is dedicated to providing individualised and holistic c
are to her clients. She approaches her work with compassion, empathy, and a collaborative mindset, working closely with her team to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Outside of work, Kellie cherishes spending quality time with her family and friends or simply unwinding at home to rejuvenate and relax.
