Anderson Road Medical Centre prides itself on providing personalised health care to the local community since 2007. Our aim is to not only manage acute and chronic health concerns but also to be proactive towards preventative health. We are fortunate to have a great team which works hard to provide a quality service. We are always looking for ways we can improve the service we offer our patients.

Dr Liam Halliday - Practice Principal
Dr Liam O' Regan(previously Halliday)

Dr Liam graduated medicine at the University of Queensland and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Liam grew up in Queensland as well as overseas and has made Melbourne his new home with his young family. 

 

Dr Liam loves all areas of general practice but especially enjoys paediatrics, men’s health, dermatology and skin cancer medicine and preventative health medicine. Liam is proficient in minor practical procedures such as skin cancer excisions, implanon insertion/removals, iron infusions and diagnostic Ultrasound and Spirometry. 

 

Dr Liam has also tutored at the University of Melbourne’s Medical school, teaching medical students basic clinical skills and has previously worked as a senior lecturer at James Cook University Queensland. He enjoys teaching the new crop of Medical students about General Practice by offering placement sessions at the practice when possible.

Locum GP - 

He is a very experience GP who graduated from the University of Melbourne and gained his fellowship in 2013. He enjoys all aspects of general practice - Family medicine, Skin checks and procedures, Chronic care, Mental Health and Iron infusions. He is committed to providing excellent health care to the local community.

Dr Ghazala Javed

Dr Ghazala is a very experience GP who enjoys all aspects of general practice, in particular chronic disease medicine. She has a wealth of experience in family medicine, women's health, Shared Care and chronic disease management. Dr Ghazala is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and Malay. Her interests are her family, grandchildren, as well as being very active in her local community.

Dr Mohammad Najdat Omer Omer

After graduating from medical school in 2006 Dr Mohammad Omer worked in the Middle East and fluently speaks Arabic, Turkish and English. 

He completed post graduation certificate in public health from Griffith university Queensland  in 2010 and has been working in Australia as a medical professional since 2012. He received certificate in Emergency Medicine in 2016 from Australian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM) and has completed his Fellowship with Royal Australian College of GP in 2024 (FRACGP).
Dr. Omer has wide variety of clinical experiences with special interest in skin conditions and skin cancer surgery in general.

She is a very experience GP who has worked for many years in country NSW. She has a wealth of experience and is committed to providing excellent health care to the local community.

Colleen Frewen EN

Colleen has worked in General Practice as a practice nurse for many years. She has a special interest in wound care and procedures. She also loves forming long term relationships with our lovely patients, particularly our older patients. She always has a friendly smile and loves a chat.

Pav Deshmukh

Pav is experienced in assessing, diagnosing & treating sports injuries, she is passionate about bringing these skills in treating patients of all age groups. Pav believes it is important to correct biomechanical dysfunctions that can cause injuries, pain or muscle weakness – acute & chronic.

Anthony Lobosco

Anthony is a dedicated physiotherapist who completed his Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University. With a focus on building strong relationships and creating personalised treatment plans, Anthony is committed to helping a wide range of clients achieve their health and wellness goals.

Anthony believes in the importance of addressing the root causes of pain and dysfunction, ensuring that clients not only find relief but also achieve lasting results. By identifying the underlying issues, he helps clients restore function, prevent future injuries, and improve overall well-being through education, hands-on techniques, and exercise.

Chriss spent many years working in acute hospital settings as a Registered Nurse, before taking on the role of Practice Manager. I enjoy the relationships you build with people in General Practice and making a real difference to their health and well-being.
