CLINIC FEES

Bulk billing services

 

Pensioners, Concession card holders and all children under 16yrs, are BULK BILL if registered with MyMedicare. You can register through MyGov by selecting the Medicare tile to find MyMedicare Registration. Otherwise you can contact reception to register on your behalf.

  • Express Clinic: Bulk Bill ALL Existing Patients. These appointments are less than 5 minute phone appointments and we encourage all existing patients if you require the following: (**New patients not eligible for the Express Clinic.**)

    • Up to 3 repeat prescriptions

    • One repeat referral 

    • Simple vaccinations (E.g. Flu vaccinations)

    • Normal Cervical screening test results

    • Medical certificate

    • Recall SMS message - Eg You require a pathology/radiology request form

    • Have a quick question about a previous consult

  • Chronic Disease Plans/Review CDP for all patients with a chronic condition

  • Chronic Care Reviews for Asthma, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease.

  • Health Assessments for all patients

  • Childhood immunisations

  • Medication Review

  • Nurse visits

    • Pathology appointments (Blood tests)

    • BP check

    • ECG

    • Holter Monitor

    • Spirometry (HCC & under 16 yrs)

    • Simple immunisations

    • Influenza vaccine ( If not eligible for the free government funded flu vaccine, private fee $25 applies)

Private Billing

As noted above, there are many Bulk billed services that we continue to offer.

 

Private fees apply to patients 16 and over who do not have a concession or pension card.

Medicare billing restrictions apply to people 16 years and over who do not qualify for a concession or pension card. Therefore, this group of patients will be required to pay a private fee on the day. Medicare rebates do apply.

 

We do offer Bulk Billing services to certain services where we can.

All New patients are charged a fee for their 1st consultation with the doctor. The fee is $100 for a standard consultation or higher for a complex consult.​ If you have a Medicare Card you will receive a rebate.

​

Private fees apply for Mental Health Consultations, Mental Health Care Plans and review of a Mental Health Plan if you are not under 16yrs, a Pensioner/HCC holder.

We will inform you of additional costs when booking a procedure.

​​

Patients with NO Medicare Card private fees apply.

​

Our priority is to continue to provide a quality health service. Please refer to a detailed list of fees below.

When the consultation takes either less time or more time than booked, the appropriate consultation fee will be charged. Fees are payable at the time of consultation preferably by credit card, EFTPOS or cash. Private fees apply for phone consultations if you are not eligible for bulk billing based on our fee policy.

​

Medicare Safety Net can help lower medical costs if you need to see a doctor or get tests regularly. When you spend over a certain amount in a calendar year, Services Australia will give you a higher rebate amount back. To manage your family’s safety net online, you can use your Medicare online account through myGov or visit www.servicesaustralia.gov.au/medicare-safety-nets to find out more.

Pre-employment Medicals

​We do accept bookings for Pre-employment medicals. Please contact the clinic to make a booking and discuss private fees. PEM are not covered by Medicare. 

​

Industry Occupational Health Examinations

We do have relationships with many local Industries in managing their workplace injuries in house. Please contact the clinic if you would like to discuss our clinic to be your preferred clinic to manage workplace injuries. 

​

In addition, we do see patients with Work-cover or TAC injuries. Out of pocket fees may apply.

Private fees apply for wound dressing, as per cost of dressing.

Pre-employment reports are NOT covered by Medicare. Standard report costs: $250 up to $550 for a complex report.
